Chapel-on-the-Hill

This small white World War II chapel sits high on a hill in Discovery Park outside Seattle, Washington, overlooking Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Discovery Park was originally the Fort Lawton naval base, founded in 1896 as an artillery battery to defend the Puget Sound area from attack.
