For a few days in early February 2026, Nantucket was forecast to receive significant snowfall, high winds, and coastal flooding, all associated with a massive nor'easter that was heading up the East Coast of the United States. Anxious to photograph Nantucket in the snow, and in unusual conditions, I made my way to the island. Although the storm drifted east, and Nantucket had no new snow, the sustained cold temperatures resulted in lots of sea ice in the harbor, and interesting photo opportunities across the island. There are all images from that 3 day visit to Nantucket.
