Ciao!

Jigokudani Park, Yamanouchi, Japan

A mature Japanese "snow monkey" or "macaque", the northern-most living primate on earth, waves from a hot spring in Yudanaka, Japan, with other snow monkeys in the background. These Japanese Macaques come down from the surrounding cliffs to the valley to enjoy the local hot springs (with water at temperatures over 100 degrees) and to escape from the harsh landscape and cold, snowy climate.
